Committee unanimously advances streetscape award with emergency authorization
The Streets and Sidewalks Committee voted unanimously to advance staff's recommendation to award the downtown streetscape contract and to request emergency authorization for additional funds; the motion to move forward passed without recorded dissension.

At the meeting's conclusion a committee member moved to proceed with staff's recommendation, including an emergency authorization to cover higher costs. The chair announced the motion and that the committee approved it unanimously. "It is unanimous with the committee to move forward as staff is recommending, which is with emergency also," Chair Bobby Phillips said.
