Council gives consensus to provide roughly $400,000 for bridge engineering to speed state project

Henry County highway staff reported they recently met with state officials about two bridge projects, including the 400 South bridge. Staff said the state asked whether the county could provide local funds for preliminary engineering (PE) and that having PE funds ready would improve the county's chance of moving the project up the list.
