Staff member (S2) said the Beaver Mountain generator experienced a starter failure and a separate control board failure and that the unit's Wi‑Fi telemetry was also burned out, possibly by a surge or lightning strike. "The Wi Fi on it does not work," S2 said, describing that the control panel and wiring were damaged and that the county purchased a replacement control panel and is seeking pricing for an updated Wi‑Fi module.
