Commission approves contract for replacement public defender
After a resignation in the public defender contract, the commission approved agreement 26-53 to contract with Roger Adams as the county’s new indigent defense attorney; commissioners moved and approved the agreement by voice vote.

Michael McGinnis reported the county had a third attorney in the public defender contract in the last 2.5 years and introduced Roger Adams as the proposed replacement under agreement 26-53. McGinnis described Adams as experienced and noted Adams was leaving a previous position in Ogden to take the contract.
