Public Works Director Marcus Abel asked the council to approve purchase of a specialized hydrant-flushing and valve exercising tool to safely cycle valves during maintenance and support hydrant flushing operations. Abel recommended Mountain Land Supply Company under bid number S1-08007288 for $5,452.59; the price includes the tool, two batteries, and free extra parts.
