Fremont County outlines process to replace late Assessor on November ballot

Freese told commissioners the Republican County Central Committee must nominate a replacement for the late County Assessor Tara Berg to appear on the Nov. general ballot; the committee must also submit three candidates for the Board to interview to fill the remainder of the current term.
