The board voted to approve the agency-request budget for the Mastery Based Learning Collaborative and delegated authority to the executive director to manage the legislative request for the 2027–28 session. Staff described the request as $1,000,000 per year to maintain modest supports for cohort 1 and 2 schools (professional learning, Impact Fellows, Living Lab Schools, technical assistance and an external evaluation).
