The full story

Reliant Homes (represented by Ned Butler) sought a land‑use change from Employment Center to Neighborhood Residential and rezoning of roughly 32.479 acres from A1 to R1OSC to create a 20‑lot subdivision on Cedar Ridge Road. The proposal includes open‑space preservation and 50‑ft transitional buffers; the commission required that existing tree lines be preserved along the right‑of‑way except where disturbance is necessary for the entry, and that the disturbed entry be fenced and planted to screen the neighborhood.
