The Walton County Board of Appeals approved variance V26-0199 on Aug. 18 to revise the entrance easement off Grady Lemonds Road and reconfigure multiple parcels while keeping total acreage equal among owners. Applicant Bobby Peters described a family property division that left a well on a neighboring parcel and created ongoing disputes; he proposed land swaps and a shared road entrance with separate driveways.
