Tellier Kenny, representing Telcon LLC, asked the commission to rezone a property east of Cochran Causeway from R‑1 to I‑2, saying the request aligns with existing industrial land uses in the Blakely and Pinto Island areas and addresses an apparent historic zoning discrepancy. "The request is simply to rezone the property from R‑1 to I‑2," Kenny told the commission during his presentation.
