After a closed-session discussion under the Michigan Open Meetings Act, the Manistee County Board of Commissioners accepted the tentative POLC labor agreement covering Oct. 1, 2026, through Sept. 30, 2029. "Moved by Machen, seconded by Koons to accept the tentative POLC Labor Agreement Commencing October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2029," the meeting record states; the motion passed 5-0 with two members absent.
