Supervisors delete interim audit expense, set schedule to finalize 2026 budget
At an Oct. 27 workshop the Jefferson Township board agreed to remove the interim audit expense for 2025 and adjust the year‑end balance, and scheduled the Revised Proposed Budget for Nov. 10 for a vote to authorize advertisement for adoption in December. The workshop adjourned at 6:52 PM by motion of Chairman John Cypher.

The board agreed there will be no interim audit for 2025 and deleted the interim audit expense from the remainder of 2025; the year‑end balance will be adjusted accordingly. The supervisors recorded that change as part of the revisions to the proposed budget for 2026.
