Highway Commissioner Ben Rich and Finance Specialist Dan Gleason reviewed the department's capital needs and replacement schedule. Rich said the one-ton pickup purchase is estimated at $75,000 and argued a baby dump truck replacement is preferable to extensive repairs; the baby dump replacement request was listed as $110,000 to come from the equipment fund.
