During consideration of Resolution No. 2282, Councilor Fage asked whether the outlined termination/severance provisions were typical, citing language that would provide six months' salary within four years and nine months within seven years of service. Rob and other council members said those provisions are intended to provide stability for a city manager who may face turnover or political change.
