Regional Planning Commission highlights comprehensive-plan hearing, grants and loan programs
West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission briefed the board on projects affecting Dunn County, said the public hearing on the county comprehensive plan draft is Oct. 1, and noted Dunn County's 2027 membership fee for the commission is just over $26,000; Regional Business Fund loans are drawn from a regional pool.

Susan Badke, executive director of the West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, summarized the commission's 2025 annual report and highlighted projects directly affecting Dunn County, including a comprehensive plan and farmland preservation update. Badke told the board the public hearing on the comprehensive plan draft is scheduled for Oct. 1 and the board will consider the plan in November.
