Staff recommends deferring Hamlet rezoning on Rico Road pending traffic study
City staff told the council the application to rezone acreage at Vernon Grove and Rico Road should be deferred until a traffic study and other materials are complete; staff said the vendor estimated six weeks to produce the report after counts and advised against re‑advertising hearings until the study is in hand.

The council heard from staff about an application to rezone acreage at the corner of Vernon Grove Road and Rico Road from RL to HMU. Mike said the Planning Commission has again deferred action and the staff recommendation is to defer until the traffic study and additional requested information arrive.
