Marlin ISD board tables TEA certification to add citation
The Marlin ISD Board pulled and then tabled a TEA certification of compliance (TEC 11.005 and TEC 28.0022) so the certification can be revised to include TEC 39.008; the motion to table passed 6–0 with one member absent.

The Marlin Independent School District Board of Trustees on Aug. 17 pulled a consent-agenda item requiring Texas Education Agency (TEA) certification of compliance under TEC 11.005 and TEC 28.0022 and voted to table that certification so the document can be revised to add TEC 39.008. The board approved the remainder of the consent agenda by motion and recorded a 6–0 vote with one trustee absent.
