Board hears updates on parks and facilities: Brewer Arena, athletic fields, playgrounds and trails
Community Services told the board about completed playground projects, ongoing athletic field renovations (Phase 2 moved to FY27), Brewer Arena restroom/bleacher work and planned grandstand replacements, the North Mesa Bike Park procurement, and the Mesa Trail renovation of roughly 2,500 feet.

The board heard a consolidated update on parks and facility projects from Community Services. Presenter said the 37th Street Playlot and Pinion Park Playground were completed this spring with May ribbon cuttings and that many projects intentionally include ADA upgrades tied to the department’s ADA transition plan.
