Commissioners directed staff to push out public notice after adopting the burn-ban order. Lynn Morris asked that the county message be posted "on our website" and that emergency management and staff use contacts with TV, radio and newspapers to reach residents. A commissioner emphasized the need for a press release and social-media outreach so the ban has practical effect.
