The Canyon ISD Board of Trustees approved bids for cabling projects submitted under the federal E‑Rate program. Danny Parrott presented the recommendation; the motion (moved by Mrs. Jenni Winegarner and seconded by Mr. Casey Posey) awarded the elementary campus cabling to Advanced Networks of Texas and the turf room project to Master E Networks and was recorded as carried unanimously with seven votes in favor.
