Sheriff’s office reports Silver Beach summer activity, steps up training and tech efforts
Sheriff Heit and Undersheriff Sanders presented August enforcement numbers and summer activity at Silver Beach (July totals: 1,576 complaints, 376 tickets, 232 arrests). The department said it has increased training, including computer-forensics work, is winterizing the marine fleet, and will share information about the Flock Safety Spotlight program with the community.
