Village plans Canal Street utility replacement during DOT project slated for 2031

Leitzinger reported sewer lines on Canal Street, Mill Street and other areas had been televised and relayed Delta 3 Engineering's recommendation to replace all utilities on Canal Street during the Department of Transportation project scheduled for 2031. The DOT project runs from Porters Bridge Road to Highway 133; Digman (Delta 3) advised it may be less expensive to schedule village utility work in the same year even if performed separately, and the village would need to notify DOT of its plans.
