The Harpers Ferry City Council voted to go into closed session during its March 3, 2026 meeting at City Hall. Council member Daren Kaeppel moved to enter the closed session, and Kenny Barta seconded; the roll-call vote recorded ayes from Kaeppel, Barta, Alan Garin, Sandi Riha and Tom Diggins and no nays, and the motion carried.
