The Scappoose City Council opened its May 18 work session to hear presentations from organizations applying for the city’s Community Enhancement Program (CEP). The chair said 11 applications remain after one withdrawal and reiterated that council would not deliberate awards tonight but will decide funding allocations at the June 15 council meeting.
