Mayor forms Events Committee; council notes upcoming community events and LAFCU groundbreaking

Mayor Susan Hammond reported that an Events Committee has been formed to assist with planning community events; named members include the City Clerk, Police Chief, DPW Superintendent, Fire Chief, Trent Atkins, and Councilmember Kamal Ghazi. The committee will handle logistical details for events such as the Farmers Market and Veterans Day Parade.
