The Cuero ISD Board on May 12 approved a motion giving Interim Superintendent Bill Hefner authority to offer employment to contractual employees from the regular May meeting until the meeting following the first day of instruction. The motion, made by Trustee Sean Douglas and seconded by Trustee Gerard Gonzales, passed 7-0.
