The Assistance League of the Columbia Pacific told the Seaside School District board it provides clothing, emergency funds, activity fees and scholarships to local students, citing program outcomes and a roughly $200,000 annual operating budget.

Judith Huck, public relations chair for the Assistance League of the Columbia Pacific, told the Seaside School District board the chapter has worked with district students for more than 16 years, providing clothing, activity-fee support and scholarships. "For over 16 years the Assistance League has demonstrated this commitment by supporting Seaside school students with new clothing paying for activity fees and scholarships," Huck said, describing programs such as Operation School Bell, a duffel-bag program for children entering foster care, and emergency clothing closets funded at roughly $800 per school.
