Butler County staff proposed transferring the remaining $1,006,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to the county engineer’s paving program and said a formal resolution would be presented at the commissioners’ Dec. 2 meeting. The staff member told the board the plan would allow the county to provide $1,000,000 now for paving and reduce next year’s general fund allowance to $4,000,000.
