Commissioners approve multiple grants, a contract amendment and outside audit award
The court approved a homeland security grant budget amendment for Motorola radios (pass-through), amended a Flock contract to align MVCPA grant dates, approved the C-02694 savings grant contract for victim notification, awarded outside audit services, and authorized FY26 indigent defense and other annual contracts.

Commissioners cleared several grant and contract items on Sept. 25. The auditor explained a special budget amendment to align homeland security grant revenue used to procure Motorola radios as a pass-through for an ESD; commissioners approved the amendment unanimously. The court also approved an amendment to the Flock contract to align its term with the MVCPA grant per a request from Dwight Maize and approved contract C-02694 (Sept. 1, 2025–Aug. 31, 2026) for the statewide automated victim-notification program.
