Commissioners authorize tax resale resolution and nominate two for appraisal district board

County staff presented and the court authorized a resolution allowing the sheriff to resell tax properties previously bid in trust, explaining the county will stagger lots (notably in Lake Dearwood) across sales so offerings are not oversupplied at one time. Miss Vaughn told commissioners, "We will not offer all of these properties at the same time because there are such such a large number of properties in Lake Dearwood. So we'll try and split those up to make them maybe a little bit more attractive," and the court approved the resolution 5–0.
