District accountability staff reviewed the 2024–25 Texas Academic Performance Report on Feb. 17, highlighting strong districtwide results and ongoing challenges. "Our reading language arts performance for each grade level was at 80% or higher at the approaches grade level," the presenter said, noting Lamar CISD outperformed regional and state averages. The presentation showed the district's 4‑year graduation rate around 94.7% and a 5‑year rate of 96%.
