The Providence City Council granted Suncor Construction a special noise variance on Sept. 16 to allow limited nighttime work needed to complete a sewer and utility tie-in near 12th South and 1st North. Staff said the work is required by the state Department of Transportation for a safe nighttime intersection tie-in.
