Council accepts Hawk Valley Associates proposal for joint comprehensive planning
Council approved a $7,800 proposal from Hawk Valley Associates (Jerome Skrincosky, AICP) to assist with joint comprehensive planning and zoning-ordinance updates; the cost will be split with Lower Alsace and may be offset by Berks County funding.

Manager Hunter Ahrens presented a joint planning proposal from Hawk Valley Associates, noting Jerome Skrincosky’s AICP credentials and prior involvement in the project. The proposal was for $7,800, to be split evenly between Mount Penn and Lower Alsace Township, and staff noted Berks County had previously offered up to $20,000 to support joint zoning work and were seeking confirmation that funding might still be available.
