Council members voiced support Sept. 17 for beginning a sidewalk extension project from the end near Bellevue Apartments to Bay Ridge after the town manager presented a contractor estimate of $55,000 for a 4-foot sidewalk. Town Manager Mike Yoder noted 4 feet is the ADA minimum and that wider, shared pedestrian/bike paths (8–10 feet) would cost substantially more.
