The Mesquite City Council approved an ordinance finalizing a negotiated settlement between the Atmos Cities Steering Committee (ACSC) and Atmos Energy Corp., Mid-Tex Division. The ordinance (No. 5272) declares existing rates unreasonable, adopts settlement tariffs reflecting agreed adjustments, and requires Atmos to reimburse ACSC’s reasonable ratemaking expenses.
