Residents flag post office problems and recent dog-law changes in website submissions
During website submissions the board reviewed a resident complaint about missed certified mail and unreliable post office boxes and another submission pointing to HB1253 and RSA 466:30 asking the town to preserve statutory exceptions for working/herding dogs in any local ordinance updates.

The board reviewed multiple website-submitted letters on Sept. 14. One resident wrote that the post office had misdelivered certified mail and that a certified letter addressed to box XX was instead put into box YY on July 29 and went unreported until Aug. 24; the board responded it does not set Town Clerk hours and supported the safety-based change the Town Clerk made, noting a public dropbox remains available.
