Lake Isabella council creates Brownfield Redevelopment Authority
The Village Council adopted Resolution 2026-08 to establish a Brownfield Redevelopment Authority under Act 381; adoption creates the governing structure but does not commit the Village to any specific project, councilmembers said.

Village Council members voted unanimously May 19 to establish a Village of Lake Isabella Brownfield Redevelopment Authority by adopting Resolution 2026-08. Interim Village Manager Manley told the council the resolution "would establish the Village of Lake Isabella Brownfield Redevelopment Authority pursuant to Act 381" and emphasized the action does not obligate the Village to any particular redevelopment project at this time.
