The commission approved a revised flowchart for public naming submissions and clarified that applications can be submitted either by an individual application or by a community council resolution per code language; minutes were also approved as amended.

Commissioners reviewed a proposed flowchart for the public naming and renaming process and discussed a wording issue under the submittal step that could be read to allow skipping a written application when a community council resolution exists. Chair Hess read the code aloud and clarified that submittal can be "by application from the public or by a resolution of a community council," so both paths are acceptable. The commission approved the flowchart as amended.
