City planning staff presented the preliminary plat for Blue Ladder Industrial, a roughly 63‑acre site south of US Highway 80 and west of West Broad Street. Mr. Morgan said the plat meets the Texas Local Government Code and the city's subdivision ordinance requirements and noted that under the site's planned development zoning, a data center is an approved use.
