The Town of Nutter Fort council voted unanimously on Aug. 26, 2025, to approve Thrasher Engineering Task Order #7 covering permitting work for the Nutter Run water-line project. Councilor Charlene Louk moved for approval and Councilor Sam Maxson seconded; a roll-call vote recorded 'Yes' from Councilors Rick Lafferty, Karen Phillips, Charlene Louk, Sam Maxson and Shawn Spurlock. Recorder Natalie Haddix was noted as absent.
