Charlie Krebs told the board that the drainage improvements project has been approved by the South Florida Water Management District and the Village of Estero has issued construction permits. Bid documents have been finalized and will be made available to contractors; staff discussed advertising, the bid opening and a mandatory pre‑construction meeting and noted hurricane/flood prevention goals for the project.
