The commission opened bids for grading and mass grading for the county gun-range project. Chair (speaker 1) read bid submissions: Solid Rock Excavating of Anstead submitted a base bid of $355,850 with Alternate A at $42,000; Radford & Radford bid $400,591 with Alternate A $18,000; Swope (out of Bluefield) and others also submitted bids and provided licensing and liability documentation for staff review.
