The full story
The applicant for a proposed four‑lot subdivision at 224 Shaker Road asked the planning board for feedback on the project’s open‑space design and related waivers during a public meeting. The applicant said the horizontal‑hatched area on his plan represents the entire open space and that "we are proposing about 57 or 50,700 square feet of open space, slightly less, which exceeds the open space required fairly significantly." The applicant added the layout accounts for a potential future road extension that could bifurcate that open space and emphasized this is not an "open space subdivision."
