The council received letters of interest from two applicants for the Planning Commission opening, Mark Courtney and John Farwell; both gave brief overviews of their qualifications. After discussion President Newnam moved to appoint Mark Courtney and Commissioner Deakins seconded the motion; the Council approved the appointment unanimously.
