LCISD updates trustees on BYOL pilot participation and device‑violation tracker
Staff reported 1,604 students participating in the BYOL pilot across seven high schools and 1,576 device violations districtwide through Oct. 14, with 86% of violations related to cell phones and most incidents occurring in classrooms. The BYOL pilot is limited to eligible AP and dual-credit students and requires network filtering and an honor code.
