Planning staff told the commission there will be staffing transitions in January and that a consulting firm will provide interim help while the department recruits a replacement. Commissioners said they were comfortable taking a slightly slower schedule for the ADU survey and related ordinance work while staff transitions are addressed, but asked that staff keep the commission involved and return the survey for review before distribution.
