The board debated a proposed new structure for township committees that would combine some functions and shift operational appointment authority to staff for non-statutory committees. Trustee Kate Hagerman asked what oversight the board would have if staff-selected committee members "do not seem to be working well," and the supervisor said the board could change the structure later or offer direct feedback when Karen presents a more detailed plan.
