Revenue Commissioner to contract mapping with Flagship and adds full-time appraiser position

Revenue Commissioner Mary Ann Ellison told the commission that an employee in the Reappraisal Office is retiring and she intends not to replace that position directly but to contract mapping entry work to Flagship, the firm that already handles the county’s mapping website. Commissioners asked Ellison to check whether contracting the service requires a competitive bid and to bring the procurement details back to the commission for review.
