The Argentine Township Planning Commission reported Aug. 13 that the pathway project received approval to hire a firm to perform preliminary engineering, a step commissioners and residents described as necessary to secure grants and finalize design. E. Renckly said preliminary engineering is "the key to getting funding," and commissioners estimated the project could take roughly two years to complete once funded.
