Aug 17, 2026

The full story

Administrator Jordan Hodges presented three routine assessment resolutions during the Aug. 17 meeting and said each is scheduled to return for a third reading on Sept. 8. Resolution 37-26 would levy a special assessment to pay for street lighting in the village for 2027 and must be submitted to the County Auditor in September. Resolution 38-26 would allow the village to assess unpaid utilities against various lots and lands; Hodges said this, too, is due to the County Auditor in September. Resolution 39-26 would permit assessments related to nuisance abatements and was described as the second reading, with a planned third reading on Sept. 8.
